Professor Maria Bebianno is a jubilee professor at the University of Algarve with great experience in marine contamination and ecotoxicology. Over 15-year experience in qualitative and quantitative research, evaluation, education, project management and public administration. Acted as project manager and evaluation specialist in various EU programs and initiatives, both in governmental and non-profit sectors.

Jose Croca Favinha
José António Croca Favinha foi Diretor do Museu de Marinha de fevereiro de 2020 a setembro de 2023, onde liderou a renovação da exposição permanente, a montagem de várias exposições temporárias e itinerantes, e integrou o museu na Rede Portuguesa de Museus. Entre outubro de 2018 e dezembro de 2019, ocupou os cargos de Comandante da Zona Marítima dos Açores, Chefe do Departamento Marítimo e Comandante Regional da Polícia Marítima dos Açores, liderando a força conjunta destacada para auxiliar a ilha das Flores após a devastação do furacão Lorenzo. De 2016 a 2018, esteve na NATO como Diretor dos Planos no Comando Marítimo em Londres.
Entre 2012 e 2014, comandou a Força Naval Portuguesa, e em 2010 assumiu a direção do Centro Integrado de Tática e Avaliação Naval, focado no treino e avaliação de navios. De 2007 a 2010, serviu no Comando de Transformação da NATO em Norfolk, EUA. Antes disso, foi Chefe da Divisão de Operações do Comando Naval e do Centro de Busca e Salvamento de Lisboa entre 2005 e 2007, além de ocupar cargos de comando e chefia a bordo de navios da Marinha. A sua carreira começou em 1986, após se licenciar em Ciências Militares Navais e especializar-se em Comunicações e Guerra Eletrónica.
